Weekly Update for October 22nd, 2018

Greetings,

As week look towards the last full week of October, I hope that everyone has had a chance to sign up for their parent-teacher conferences this week. This week is a full schedule for all of us and we look forward to ending it with the great and spooky (well, a FUN spooky) annual LPA Halloween Party. I have attended a number of the parties over the years (without my own children and with them). It is always a lot of fun for our students and families.

Thank you in advance to all of the teachers who are lending their talents and interests towards the raffle prizes.

Also a HUGE thank you to our LPA Halloween team led by Lynch mom & party Chairperson Beth Bookwalter. They will begin to transform our stage area to the "Haunted Hallway" on Wednesday and the gym and dining room looking festive for the party.

A few pictures from the past week:

We had our 4th graders sprint off to Gillette Stadium for the New England Revolution Fitness Day on Friday. Here is a team picture of Ms. Pine's class.

Thank to WFEE and Lynch mom Jill Swilling for organizing the annual Authorfest at Lynch and all the schools this past Wednesday. We are lucky to have some amazing authors and illustrators in the surrounding communities. Very inspiring to hear our presenters talk about their backgrounds, love for literacy and the struggle when editing but, not giving up!

Have a great week!

Mr. Dupuis
