Weekly Update for September 24th, 2018
Greetings,
I hope this finds everyone well and enjoying the beginnings of the fall season. I loved growing up in New Hampshire and New England for many reasons. Quick access to beaches, our hometown sports teams (I very clearly remember crying myself to sleep as a kid when a ground ball went through Bill Buckner's legs in the 1986 World Series and then crying again when the Sox finally won in 2004) and the change in seasons. I gave the official okay to my kids at home to start decorating outside and around the house with autumn decorations.
A few quick notes as we head into our third full week of school:
- It was great to see so may faces at our LPA meeting Friday morning. Stacey Princi and Nora Walker are wonderful co-president's and I consider myself very fortunate to have such great leadership with our LPA and so many active and positive families at Lynch.
- Likewise, the first LPA social Saturday night had a great turnout and a success. My wife and I (along with our Assistant Principal Mrs. Cappodanno and her husband) made the drive down from North Andover to attend. Great venue. GREAT pictures of our Lynchies. Overall, a really fun night. Thank you to our LPA team and families for attending on behalf of our Lynchies!
- Over the past week, I have sent out a few emails out to the Lynch community. One item last week mentioned was our Lynch Parents Association looking to update their contact list and add our new Lynch families to the weekly newsletter. Please see below for that information with updated grade level options.
Our Lynch Parents Association is looking to update their communication and mailing lists. If you would like to be added to their contact list and receive their great weekly newsletter (delivered via email on Sunday night/Monday morning) and important information on upcoming school-wide events please click the link below and complete the form.
- A reminder that the district has an early release on September 28th (this Friday ). Lynch will dismiss at 11:20am.
- Lastly, here are some pictures from the 5th grade trip on Monday to Project Adventure in Beverly, Ma. Thank you to the teachers, chaperones, 5th grade parent committee and LPA for making this experience happen!
Have a great week!
Mr. Dupuis
