Weekly Update for September, 19th 2016

I hope this finds you all well and having had enjoyed a nice weekend. It is interesting how quickly we go from summer weekends on beaches, lakes or with extended family to busy weekends of fall activities. I for one am enjoying the subtle change from hot, humid days to more of an autumn feel.

I want to thank all of you who were able to attend our annual Curriculum Night last Thursday. Most of us are not able to see much of our children's classroom or teacher(s) during the school year and it is always nice for you to have a visual when your child talks about their day. I was able to drop our daughter off to her first day of school recently. I know for me, when  reading books in bed at night and discussing the school day with her, it is nice to know what her classroom and school look, sound and feel like when she is explaining her routine.

Included below are a few pictures in and around Lynch.
The first two pictures are from an updated space in the back of our library which we have titled ourb"Imagination Station." A large thank you to our custodians who prepped the area, the technology department that re-organized and connected our devices and lastly our LPA leadership team who painted and outfitted our space with some comfortable seating for student learning!

The last picture is one I took outside while supervising the students enjoying a beautiful late summer day at recess. We have a great space with the soccer fields and if you squint really hard, you might be able to see multiple games happening and Lynchies enjoying being kids......

Have a great week!

Mr. Dupuis
