- Kickballapalooza Thank you

A reminder that our annual spring concert for kindergarten, first grade and second grade students is this Wednesday at 6:30pm. I am sure some of you will be scurrying in from soccer, softball and baseball fields or after-school activities. This event is such a pleasure to attend and watch all of the hard work our students and Mr. Thompson have put in over the past few months (plus the students are ridiculously adorable!). Our students will have a chance to have a full dress rehearsal Tuesday morning in front of their peers. We look forward to seeing most of you Wednesday evening!


One last thank you to all of you who attended our now legendary Kickballapalooza fund raiser for the Jimmy Fund Thursday afternoon. We had perfect weather and our students left the fields with sweaty (and some dirty) faces! Lynch teacher Patrick Flaherty put this event together three years ago and has blossomed into a staple at Lynch. Final totals from Thursday afternoon:

180 students (wow!)
25 faculty members
7 games (we actually had to split our grade 4 game into two because we had some many students)
A hillside of parents and siblings
and lastly....................

$2300+ raised to aid the Jimmy Fund!!

We discussed this at our All-School meeting on Friday, that when we can, we give back to our community. Very proud of all our Lynchies!
