Weekly Update for June 6th, 2016

Many many thanks to our Lynchies who presented at our first ever Science Fair last Wednesday night. We had close to 60 projects on display. An equally large thank you to Mr. Mike Acker and Mr. Sundara Kumaran who led the charge to get this fair up and running. I was able to get to all of the students and projects. The pride and most importantly - joy on each child's face was inspiring. We had a great evening at Lynch and hope to make this a yearly tradition. 

Field day is Friday, June 10th. We will be starting the morning off with a breakfast for you, the families! The Lynch faculty would like to return the appreciation to all of you. If you are volunteering at field day or just coming early to watch the activities, please join us for some coffee and yummy food. 

We will be having a regular lunch on field day. Students will order their lunch in the morning as they usually do. The main option will be hot dogs this year. Kindergarten families please note, that the K students WILL be eating lunch with us on Friday. They will eat around 11:30am. Students who do not order lunch can always bring their own. Families and siblings are all welcome to bring their own lunches and stay for lunch. All grades will eat their lunches outside on the playground. 

Thank you to Lynch parent Liz Schreiber and Lynch Physical Education teacher Ms. Danielle Dean for all the preparation and time they have put in thus far for Friday. We can't wait!!
