Weekly Update for October 12th, 2018

Greetings!

As we head into the middle part of October it looks like we are finally getting into the cool autumn weather.
There are a few events coming up in the next few weeks that I wanted to highlight:

- Our annual Lynch Parents Association Halloween Party will be happening on Friday, October 26th. If you have never attended, be prepared for one of the most popular events of the year! All family members are welcome to take part in the games, crafts, dancing and "Haunted Hallway."

- Please make sure that you have signed up for parent-teacher conferences with your classroom teacher. The conferences are mostly scheduled during the early release days of Wednesday 10/24 through Friday 10/26 (dismissal is 11:20am each day). If you are not able to make one of the time slots available with your teacher, please reach out to them to find possible other times.

It’s fast, it’s fun and it benefits your kids. WFEE’s online auction is ready to go. Check out all the offerings at charityauction.bid/wfee. Don’t delay, bidding ends Friday, October 26th at 10pm.

We have everything from fitness packages for adults to teacher led experiences for students.
Here at Lynch Elementary your child could:
                - You and 2 others can attend the January 17th (Thursday night) Bruins Vs. St. Louis Blues game with Mr. Dupuis.
                - Win front row seats to a Lynch event of your choosing
                - Become Principal for a day
               -  Be a news person for a night
There is much more for both adults and students at charityauction.bid/wfee. WFEE is holding this auction in conjunction with All that Jazz, a 20s themed gala celebrating our 25th year of helping Winchester educators. A limited number of tickets are available for this Oct. 27th event at www.wfee.org

Lastly,  some pictures from this week at Lynch. Winchester High School volleyball players stopped by our All-School Assembly Friday morning to demonstrate some volleyball skills and promote their home game on Friday, October 19th (6pm) versus Belmont High School to benefit the Serve for the Cure fundraiser.
