Weekly Update For September 25th, 2017
Greetings and Happy Autumn!
Well, it doesn't really feel like autumn in New England just yet does it?

I was fortunate to run (well, a little running and more walking) the Glen Doherty Memorial Road Race Sunday afternoon with our 6 year old daughter. As someone who loves running, it was such a proud moment as a father to have an excited first grader wanting to run her first ever road race.
Just as exciting was seeing the large amount of Lynch students and families join the rest of the Winchester community for a very worthy cause. Congratulations to those of you who ran and walked in some very hot weather!
LPA Cookout Thank You!
Thank you to all who attended the annual LPA Fall Cookout. This event is always very well attended. It is great to see so many families getting together to spend time chatting, playing or even meeting each other for the first time!
Lynch Little Free Library
Outside our main entrance we have the Lynch Little Free Library. In working with a few Lynch students and a local business we were able to add this great access to literacy last year.
We run our "Free" library with a "Take one, give one" system. If you borrow a book you can either return it or keep it! If you decide to keep the book, we ask if you can kindly bring a different book back in return.
Or even better, feel free to add to the collection if you are updating your children's library of books at home and looking to donate!
