Weekly Update for September 11th, 2017

Greetings,

We were beyond thrilled to have our Lynchies back in the building. Thank you to all for your support at home and around Lynch the first few days to help make the beginning of the school year for the students so smooth. We ring our bell a few minutes before 8:45 to begin students transitioning to their classrooms. I walked by a few classrooms on Thursday morning and saw children engaged in classroom work and on task by 8:50 -  which was amazing!

It was a pleasure getting to greet our kindergarten parents last week. Many of us met at kindergarten orientation in May or over the summer. Now that the beginning of school really is here, I hope you are adjusting to your children being at school everyday. A few tears from parents here or there - which is normal 😊

Hopefully you have a chance to come by our Curriculum Night on Wednesday, September 13th  (Times are below). This is an evening for you to hear more about our grade level curriculum and activities for the school year from your teachers.

Please note, this is not an evening for individual meetings with teachers. Always communicate via phone or email with a teacher if you need to set up a time to meet. We do have our parent-teacher conferences spread over a 3-day period in late October for individual meetings.

Have a great week!

Mr. Dupuis
