Weekly Update for October 16th, 2017

Greetings!

Fall (well, the weather) finally arrived last week! October 13th was the first official morning of me needing a wool hat, which much like sneakers, I enjoy collecting and wearing.
And then of course as I write this on Sunday morning, it is going to be warm and humid. Wool hat goes back in the closet for a few days!

With that, a few pictures from the recent week or so.

Our All-School Meeting on Friday, October 6th celebrated retiring Lynch teacher, Mrs. Karen Clements and her 31 years teaching Winchester children. We decided to "Retire her number" of 31 (for the amount of years) and thank her with heartfelt speeches from two of her long-time colleagues (Mrs. D'Alelio and Mrs. Duffy).

We wish Mrs. Clements many happy days ahead in her retirement (which will include her volunteering a bit at Lynch in the future).

Our 4th grade students took in the annual Field Day/Health Expo at Gillette Stadium and led by MLS New England Revolution.

Lastly, our 3rd grade had a chance to travel to Plimoth Plantation to explore more about their socials studies curriculum and the history of early settlers of Massachusetts.

Have a great week!

Mr. Dupuis
