Weekly Update for April 9th, 2018

Greetings Lynch Families,

We have been very busy at school recently. So much so, that I can't believe we are nearing our April break!

Our 4th and 5th grade students and teachers did a wonderful job with their English Language Arts portion of MCAS last week. Both grade levels participated in testing online. Grade 3 will take part in their ELA MCAS when we come back from break and will be taken with paper and pencil. This will be the last year that paper and pencil tests are offered for all grades and MCAS - FYI.

We are looking forward to our annual Lynch Health Fair on Friday, April 13th.  Ms. Dean (Lynch Physical and Health Education teacher) has put together some exciting and educational stations with many community members presenting. Dental hygiene, cardio-health, nutrition and kindness are just a few stations on Friday.

Looking down the road to the end of the school year, please note that the last day of school for students is now Friday, June 22nd at 11:45am. We will recognize our 5th grade students at their "Moving On" ceremony the evening before -Thursday, June 21st - at 6:30pm in our dining room.
