Weekly Update for January 16th, 2017

Greetings,

(While updating this blog using my phone, a post from last March 2016 was inadvertently sent out last week, apologies for any confusion).

I hope you have had a nice holiday weekend. Last Monday morning we had the pleasure of welcoming Chinese Acrobat Li Liu to Lynch School. Li has traveled the world performing in circuses, cruise ships and halftime shows in the NBA. Li focused her presentation on her upbringing, Chinese culture and as you can see in the pictures below, her physical abilities!
This was one enrichment program that had students standing in the back of the gymnasium in excitement to watch her performance.

My personal favorite was having four of our Lynchies pass spinning plates to one another with long, skinny sticks.

Updated Grade 4 MCAS Dates (ELA ONLY):  We had to modify grade 4 MCAS dates for ELA only in early April to make sure there was no testing during Passover (This is a district-wide request).
Please note on your calendars.
New dates are below:

Grade 4 ELA # 1: Monday, April 3
Grade 4 ELA # 2: Tuesday, April 4
Grade 4 ELA # 3: Friday. April 7

Have a great week!

Mr. Dupuis
